You can think of components as individual building blocks you can add to a content type to create various layouts. They are like puzzle pieces that you can place on a form, which in this context, represents your content.
Components are available in the Main Content Area on most content types. But not all content types have access to all components. Most of the components listed below are available only in Pages.

| Text | Basic text editor similar to working in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. Read the documentation See an example of this component in use |
| 50/50 Contained | Separates content into two equal sides. If images are added to a side, it will display at a pre-set dimension, as opposed to spanning to the edge of the webpage. Read the documentation See an example of this component in use |
| 50/50 Full Width | Separates content into two equal sides. If images are added to a side, it will span to the edge of the webpage. See an example of this component in use |
| 75/25 Full Width | Separates content into two sides, the left side is 75% of the width, the right side is 25% of the width. See an example of this component in use |
| Accordion | Supports content within one or more collapsible panels. Great for pages that contain lots of content that can be grouped into simple headers, e.g., Q&As, collections, etc. See an example of this component in use |
| CTAs Grid | Supports creating one or more call-to-action (CTA) buttons. See an example of this component in use |
| Entity Reference | Allows you to display, and link to, portions of other BSPH Drupal webpage content without recreating that content on your current webpage. |
| Headlines Grid (Manual Selection) | By searching for published articles that use the article content type, you can select and display multiple articles in a grid without having to recreate that content on your current webpage. See an example of this component in use |
| People List (Manual Selection) | If your team is within the Faculty Directory, you can create cards of your team that pulls in dynamically an image, department, position and power sentence. See an example of this component in use |
| Profile List | Supports creating a vertical listing of content – people, organizations, donors, etc. - in a structured fashion. Read the documentation See an example of this component in use |
| Single Column | Content is center aligned within a single column. Better suited for brief content and calls to action. See an example of this component in use |
| Social Links | Supports creating links with the social media icons to your respective social media accounts. See an example of this component in use |
| Static Card Grid | Supports non-clickable cards to highlight quick facts or stats. See an example of this component in use |
| Tile Grid | Supports creating a grid of content that is manually curated. Each tile can have its own title, image, description, link, and background color. Read the documentation See an example of this component in use |
| Views Reference | Supports creating dynamic list (not manually curated) that pulls in your respective content such as events, articles, or publications.
