If you need to rename an existing page, it is best to use the “Rename Page” tool. 


To rename a page in SiteExecutive while you are on the page:

  1. Click the “Desktop” tab, 
  2. Double-click “Rename Page” (far left under "Permissions”, see image below ).
    1. Within the "Rename Page" dialog, replace the text in the input field and save. Make sure that your page ends with .html, has "-" instead of spaced and is in lowercase.

 

If you need to rename an existing folder, it is best to use the “Rename folder” tool. 


To rename a folder in SiteExecutive while you are in the folder:

  1. Go to Folder Maintenance
  2. Click on Rename Folder
    1. Within the "Rename folder" dialog, replace the text in the input field and save. Make sure that your folder has "-" instead of spaced and is in lowercase.
