Option Elements

Radio, checkbox, and Select have two types, regular and other. The only difference between Regular and Other is that other gives users the ability to submit their answers outside your list. The following are directions on adding and configuring a Radio, Select, or Checkbox.

  1. Once you are in your form's build tab, click the Add Element

  2. In the popup add the element you want, in this case, we are adding either Radios, Checkboxes, or Select elements
  3. Add the Title
  4. You have the option of either using predefined options or creating your own
    1. Predefined: use the dropdown and select the predefined options available
      1. If you need to add a new option list, contact your WebForm Manager
    2. Create your own:
      1. In the Option Value, enter the machine name(each word must be separated by an underscore, ex. first_name)
      2. In the Options Text/Description, enter the human name(this can have spaces)

  5. For Radio and Checkboxes only– Skip if you are using a Select element
    1. In the Option Display dropdown, select the way you want your Checkboxes or Radio buttons to appear Use Button Flexbox or Button Horizontal with caution, since each option can only hold limited text.
    2. If you want to see how these will show on your page, see our test page
  6. Save the Element
